Cookies
The internet page of Genolier Innovation Hub use cookies, which are downloaded to your device by visiting our website. The cookies are necessary in order provide the users of our website with more user-friendly services, to record preferences, to analyse connections on the website, to include third party cookies and for purposes of advertisement.

You can prevent the setting of cookies through our website by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used, and thus permanently deny the setting of cookies. Furthermore, already set cookies may be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs. If you deactivate the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, not all functions of our website may be entirely usable.

Data protection provisions about the application and use of Google
Analytics (with anonymization function)

Component of Google Analytics are integrated on our website. The IP address of your Internet connection is abridged by Google and anonymised when accessing our websites from a Member State of the European Union or another Contracting State to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The purpose of the Google Analytics component is to analyse the traffic on our website. With each call-up to one of the individual pages of our websites, your Internet browser – through the use of cookies – will automatically submit data through the Google Analytics component for the purpose of online advertising and the settlement of commissions to Google. During the course of this technical procedure, the enterprise Google gains knowledge of personal information, such as your IP address, which serves Google, inter alia, to understand the origin of visitors and clicks, and subsequently create commission settlements.

The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not merged with other data from Google. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offer to Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

For more information about Google’s data use, settings and opt-out options, please visit Google’s websites: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners (“Data use by Google when you use our partners’ websites or apps”), https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads (“Data use for advertising purposes”), https://www.google.com/settings/ads (“Manage information Google uses to serve you ads”).

Further information and the applicable Google privacy policy can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/ and at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/.

Further information on Google Analytics can be found at this link: https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/.

Data protection provisions about the application and use of YouTube
Components of the internet video portal YouTube are integrated on our website. With each call-up to one of the individual pages of our website into which a YouTube component/video was integrated, your Internet browser is automatically prompted to download a display of the corresponding YouTube component. During the course of this technical procedure, YouTube and Google gain knowledge of what specific sub-page of our website you visited. If you are logged in on YouTube, it recognizes with each call-up to a sub-page that contains a YouTube video, which specific sub-page of our website you visited. If such a transmission of information to YouTube and Google is not desirable, you may prevent this by logging off from your own YouTube account before a call-up to our website is made.

Data Protection Provisions for the Use of HubSpot

We use HubSpot, a platform for marketing, sales, customer service, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) provided by HubSpot, Inc. HubSpot assists us in managing our marketing campaigns, communicating with our customers, and optimizing our services. When you visit our website, interact with a contact form, or register for an event organized by us, some of your personal data may be stored and processed by HubSpot.

The data collected can include contact information such as your name, email address, phone number, as well as navigation and interaction data with our site. This data collection enables us to personalize our communication and offer an enhanced user experience. HubSpot also uses cookies and other tracking technologies to analyze the use of our site and improve the relevance of our marketing. If you do not wish for your data to be used by HubSpot in this manner, you may opt out at any time.

Integration of third-party services and content
We use content or service offers from third-party providers within our online offer in order to integrate their content and services, such as videos or fonts (hereinafter uniformly referred to as “content”). This always requires that the third-party providers of this content perceive the IP address of the user, since without the IP address they could not send the content to their browser. The IP address is thus required for the display of this content. We endeavor to use only such content whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the content. Third-party providers may also use so-called pixel tags (invisible graphics, also known as “web
beacons”) for statistical or marketing purposes. The “pixel tags” can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website. The pseudonymous information may also be stored in cookies on the user’s device and may contain, among other things, technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other information about the use of our online offer, as well as be linked to such information from other sources.

The following presentation provides an overview of third-party providers and their content, along with links to their privacy statements, which contain further information on the processing of data and, in part already mentioned here, opt-out options:
